Sure, I'm a trust fund kid and have spent a small fortune on all of these at some point or another. I've had the full range of all the paints you mention bar the foundation of which I have about 10 but actually quite like them so, I'm happy to share;
Brushes - W&N are inferior to Raphael in both durability, quality and hence value for money. It wasn't always that way but there are huge variations in quality from brush to brush with W&N of late.
Reaper master series - dry WAY too fast and are absolutely horrible to wet blend with. Consistency varies from bottle to bottle & some colours need major correction to the triads just like Foundry.
Coat de Arms - I must have been really lucky as I've been using them for years and not had any colour variation issues although Dr Faust (sp) said the same thing
Foundry - dry shiny just like P3 & CDA you can also buy singles I've been doing so for ages.
Rackham - There are 8-10 totally AWFUL colours the rest are fine. They do not cover black well at all so don't waste your time use grey or white primer. You will have to learn to paint in a totally different way using a myriad washes wet blending etc etc but even I can pull off NMM using these colours. Their black makes the best paint based black wash I have ever used.
VMC/Andrea Way too much variation in pigment size and consistency from pot to pot. Some colours dry chalky - Historical colours are useful although personally I look for alternatives from different ranges. Wet blends ok but annoying to work with due to the need to mix constantly to prevent separation.
A wet palette is a huge advantage working withVMC/Andrea and in truth pretty much any of the lines you've covered.
As with anything this is all subjective as we all paint differently but there ya go

Vexillia Any comments to make about my site? |
[1] It's not broken when viewed with Firefox.
[2] You too have a "naked" email address.
[3] Drop the underlining - this usually indicates a link. Use bold instead
[4] Think about emphasis - is everything in green, bold and large text that important to the reader that it requires three kinds of emphasis? Two should do and us ethe same levels across the site.
[5] Font sizes differ between pages. Be consistent.
[6] Use wasted space in your header and under menu.
[7] Be consistent with layout - always left justify pages for example.
[8] You have "OOK Painting Service Expertly Painted 28mm Figures" in nearly every text box on most pages - that's what headers are for.
[9] Your email should be one the Service page where you say "Then contact me now" - make it easy for readers.

Thanks Vexillia, very much appreciated and I see where you're coming from.
If I get time today I'll see what I can do to modify it.
Cheers

Vexillia
I've made some changes based on your advice. I'm still a bit confused about "naked emails". Do I simply type in the code you've shown above in your response to Aquila ?

Yes but change the bits in bold to your details.

Wow! Much better. Now to polish it a bit:
[1] Try and get the sub heading on one line - better design and impact.
[2] Drop the word details from Terms menu title.
[3] Be creative with space under menu on lhs - featured mini?

Why not just get a free blog with one of the good blogging platforms like wordpress - it can function as a conventional site and a blog.

w&n is not inferior to raphaels. it is still regarded by many watercolor painters as having the best design for a watercolour brush, the problem is finding a good one nowadays. you find a well made one the raphaels won't stand a chance. although if rumors are true that a lot of the w&n top brushmakers are almost all gone then it's only a matter of time that they relinquish their top dog position but not quite yet as you can still find some excellent brushes.
the reaper dries about as fast as most paints that's why you have drying retarders to aid you.
not all coats darms have inconsistency problem butsome do
rackham paints are not particularly popular among established painters probably because the range is too limited. tell me how painters paint predominantly with rackham paints?
and as for foundry i believe one of their publication or something said it dried matte. now that you've said it dried shiny i will look into that. yes i did read you can get them in singles now so will have to upadte the info.
yes like you said it's all a matter of personal taste isn't it

Hi Vexillia
Made some more changes as suggested.
However, I'm not able to put a picture below the menu as the template doesn't allow for it so I put one of my own at the top instead.
The script you gave me didn't seem to work. All it did was display the text exactly how I pasted it in. I'm not so worried about this feature, I've not had any problems before with 'harvesting spambots'.
Thanks again for advice.

The template probably doesn't allow javascript.
