This morning I've gained my first figure painting client.

A chap who bought some of my BAM figures on ebay, wants me to paint some UNIT figures for Doctor Who gaming. It's only a small job as that's all I can really manage as I work full time, but I'm really looking forward to it. He has a friend who may want some done too soon.

This has happened as a result of the advice I've received from some of you about my painting style, website and picture taking, and the inspiration I've got from seeing so many well painted figures on this forum. So thanks to all you guys.

Been a good weekend all round, as Spurs won yesterday too

If you mean the figs I sell on ebay, then they're set at that price just to help get my name known, as it's early days yet.

I'm not in a position to charge the same as others do. Also I know that I'm not in the same league as them when it comes to the standard I achieve, so the figs probably wouldn't sell anyway. I'd rather sell a figure cheap and get my name known to someone than not sell the figure.

Believe me I do appreciate your comments, but I'm just starting out so am prepared to take things one step at a time.
