O.K. so the badges have arrived! I am really pleased with them but you can make up your own mind. The first photo here is my daughter modelling one (no sense in me doing it, don't want to put people off!) and the second is a close up of the badge (ignore the reflection artifacts, the quality is very good)

The fitting is a short spike with a clip to cover it - you can sort of make it out in this picture, which should also give you another idea of scale.

So how can you get hold of one? They are FREE to a good home. After a lot of thought I have decided that I will also fund postage, so all you need to do is send me your address. I am happy to accept 'international orders'. You will need to PM me or email me (simon AT hotcrossbunny DOT co DOT uk) and I'll send you one, but please be patient, my life is very busy and complex at the moment. I have had 100 made, which is a fair bit more than recent threads have suggested is needed. If there is anybody who wants another for the kids then let me know.
It was suggested that folks could make a donation to Children in Need instead of paying for the badge, which I think is a great idea but please don't feel you have to. I was going to set up a paypal account but having examined the options it is probably easier to ask folks to make their own donation. This means that the only person who knows about your donation is yourself, which is how it should be, although if anybody is willing to let me know how much they have donated then I could at least report back to everybody a minimum amount raised. The address for donations is
http://www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey/donate/
I think that about wraps it up for now. If you are out there Steve it might be an idea to make this thread sticky - who knows there may even be some left over for future members!

Thanks
Simon

Have put my name down and will make the donation. The badge AND the kids are worth it.

Well done
