HI chaps had this great idea for a small money spinnner...some of the local boys are into cowboys ad indians...our local cheapjack shop does a bag of mixed 40mm plastic ones for a £1. A quick 2-level paintjob/ varnish later and im going to sella posse of 6 cowboys for £5 to the parents as xmas presents!!!!

That' a good idea. I painted up a few of those dollar store cowboys as practice for my 28s. They do paint up pretty well. (there is a big difference in quality of casting, I got the best ones from Toy Soldier's Depot online.) I painted them with 70/30 pva glue and water prior to painting (per Kevin Dallimore's book) and then sealed them with straight pva instead of varnish. My boys have been playing with them and the paint is holding up nicely. I think that would make a really nice little present. If someone were doing that locally, I'd buy them for my boys.

I think this is a great idea but would suggest using a Non-Toxic paint since they could end up being chewed by little 'Uns....

In these days of regulation and rules it'd be well to cover your bases.... So to speak!!

Nah, a bag of about 20 or so 40mm plastic costs me a £1 so charging £5 for a st of 6 means 500% profit from first order, and i cant rip them off too much...lol
