|
|
|
I have a couple of WAB armies started, and was using 20mm square GW bases for the foot figures and GW cavalary bases for anything mounted, I have now notice in some pictures some foot figures based on 25mm square GW or other material ( e.g. craftwood) bases.
What is the prefered base size for infantry?
As there is not a lot of WAB players in my area, I will build two armies for each period, so will not have to worry about opponents base size.
Also what is the most popular material for basing them on?
Cheers David

We use 20mm square for regulars and 25 round for skirmish troops.
I use litko but most of the lads use GW I just find it a bugger to get some minis on the GW as they taper and with only 20mm every little counts especially when its something like firing ECW troops with a musket rest

base size 20x20. cavalry 25x50. some people base skirmishers on 25x25.
best bases are from Litko, but plastic base's are just as common.
What you're doing with your base's is by far the most prevalent.
